Global program dashboard for all reporting

01 · The problem

Critical fracking data was stuck in manual, siloed systems.

An oil and gas client's legacy fracking platform data slowed analytics and put delivery quality at risk, inside Microsoft's $50M+ portfolio of top global customer engagements.

02 · My role

Program manager and technical product owner for the pipeline modernization.

I owned delivery across data scientists and engineers, plus the reporting that kept leadership and the client aligned.

03 · How I led

  1. 01One team, two disciplines. Coordinated data scientists and engineers to migrate the legacy fracking data into automated Azure data pipelines.
  2. 02Protect quality without slowing down. Used service virtualization and test data management so testing didn't wait on live systems.
  3. 03One source of truth. Tracked the work through a global program dashboard and standardized triage reports across Power BI, Azure DevOps, SQL and Dynamics CRM (customer relationship management).
  4. 04Drive adoption, not just delivery. Ran innovation workshops so customers actually used the new analytics features.

04 · Results

15% increase in advanced analytics adoption across a $50M+ portfolio.

Azure pipeline modernization delivered with better quality and a faster cadence.
